Analysing a students thriller project
Trapped -
The setting was eary by the weather and made it even spookier as it was a natural setting.
Sepia effects were used to make the shots look more like a thrille and lets the audience know what sort of genre the film is.
Camera shots were varied making it interesting to watch, some of these included, piont of view, arial shot and wide shots etc.
The music reflected the type of genre and the atmospheric ideals of a thriller. Running through woods alone adds the element of fear becuase the setting is familiar it makes it more relatable to the viewers adding tension and suspence.
The titles were made less effective as they werent bold and were unclear to see. The font type was white which is seen as a pure colour however in thrillers its more commen to use red or black as this is more suitable to the idea of a thriler.
